Stay True to You training dates – parents/carers

On Monday 20 May, the start of the national Knife Crime Awareness Week, the Thames Valley Violence Prevention Partnership launched “Stay True to You”, a new campaign to promote safety for young people. It provides a new website – www.staytruetoyou.co.uk, together with free resources and training provided by The Ben Kinsella Trust.

Parents, carers, extended family members and wider members of the community are encouraged to review the materials made available on the new website, and have also been offered free online information sessions.

Each session is provided online and is led by the national charity The Ben Kinsella Trust, an expert in supporting families on the issues of knife crime, online harm, exploitation and drugs.

Each training session is a dynamic mixture of information sharing, tips on how to have those difficult conversations, warning signs to look out for and advice on how to build a trusting relationship.

Sessions can be booked online in advance using the following links:

The Ben Kinsella Trust is the leading anti-knife crime charity and its team of expert trainers have been working to educate young people and support families and professionals since 2008.
