Employability and Skills project

We are working with colleagues in Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) and HM Prisons & Probation Service to develop a new project for 2024 – 2025 which aims to support access to training and employment for those leaving the secure estate.

Having stable employment, and the opportunities to obtain it, are a protective factor to preventing people being drawn into crime and potentially violence.

The project will also inform our Focused Deterrence intervention, aiming to improve employability amongst its cohort.
